Who We Are

Psychosis Spectrum Services at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) provides evidence-based treatment programs throughout NJ to individuals aged 6 and up experiencing behavioral health challenges related to psychosis spectrum disorders. We offer a continuum of care based on age and degree of support needed, to address all related mental health challenges.

What We Do

Behavioral health issues impact all aspects of life. Within our programs we provide wrap around services to support the entire person, focusing on comfort, safety, personal fulfillment, purpose, and social connections.

Our multidisciplinary services are designed to help people understand their experiences, reduce distress, and promote recovery through evidence-based approaches which may include: psychotherapy, medication management, community, and family support.

How We Do It

By offering individualized treatment plans and coordinated care, psychosis treatment services empowers individuals to regain stability, improve daily functioning, and enhance their overall quality of life. Early engagement with these services can significantly improve outcomes, helping individuals and their families navigate challenges and build hope for the future.

We offer 3 different outpatient programs utilizing a community based model to address individuals’ needs.

Children & Teens 6-14

Young Individuals 12-25

Teens & Young Adults 15-35

Within each program, our multi-disciplinary care teams works with individuals and family members to collaboratively develop a personalized treatment plan that meets each individual’s goals.
